Well this was my first International Hermit and Stitch Weekend and, although I didn't get to hermit as much as I wanted (hard to do with a toddler...) I did get a good chunk of stitching done.
First up was Celtic Fire, below are the before and after pictures.
Here is the floss toss, it is stitched on 28ct antique white lugana and I chose to use DMC 935 & 3364 for the greens, and DMC 920, 926, 3779 & 3821for the floral colors.
I. Just. Love. It. Although I love love love stitching and cannot get enough of it, those specialty stitches are a whole new level of delight and enjoyment! So much so that as soon as this one is done I'll move on to the next Papillon Creations SAL, Castle in the Air, and who knows, maybe I'll manage to catch up with the new one Around the World in 80 Stitches.

Beautiful specialty stitches for the flowers. They turned out great!
Hello
Your WIP's are lovely!
The Papillon SAL is beautiful, I love the speciality stitches.
Wow, how wonderful does your "How does your Garden grow?" look? ;-)
The colors are wonderful =)
Celtic fire looks fantastic, the confetti is really worth it!
Fantastic progress on both pieces. Glad that you enjoyed your first IHSW.
They both look great Maud. I love stitching over one, but I do Tent Stitch rather than full crosses. (Tent stitch is just like a half stitch, but you loop around further on the back.) Since I'm working two over one on twenty eight count, the coverage is great. I love your HDYGG. It looks beautiful.
Beautiful stitching, Maud. I love the colours you've picked for How Does Your Garden Grow.
Hugs,
Veronica.
How your garden grows is just beautiful. The colours just perfect. Think you can tell i like it. ;)
Celtic fire looks great and I really love HDYGG - you've picked great colours. Looks like you had a great IHSW.
Hi Maud! Love your new start.. The colours are gorgeous. I have just started learning the fancy speciality stitches too! Aren't they great :o)
